We know that you may have questions about your bathroom remodeling project, and specifically on this page, bathtub replacement. Here are some answers to common questions:

Acrylic Bathtub Liners

More than just a beautiful bathtub…Acrylic bath liners are a low-cost and clean alternative to tearing out your existing tub and tile walls. In two days or less and much less than the cost of replacement, your bathroom can be transformed into a thing of beauty. Our liners are manufactured out of the thickest and most durable acrylic available today. This co-extruded high impact A.B.S. acrylic has a smooth, non-porous finish that is easy to clean and is more acid and alkaline resistant than porcelain. Every liner is custom molded to match your bathtub for an exact fit. Our bath liners not only look beautiful, but actually keep water hot up to three times longer than cast iron bathtubs. For easier cleaning and safety, the liners come with a molded-in, slip resistant bottom. Your installation may include a chrome (other finishes available) drain and overflow cover.

Wall Systems

Surround your bath with elegance…acrylic wall systems are the perfect complement to your acrylic bathtub liner. The wall system is designed to be installed right over your existing wall tile. Made from smooth, durable, high-impact A.B.S. acrylic, our wall system surrounds your tub or shower walls from floor to ceiling eliminating the wall maintenance problems of re-grouting and sealing. We also offer a high-end solid surface look wall system in several patterns including a marbleized look.   Add our matching acrylic soap dishes and corner caddies to complete your bathing alcove.

How We Can Offer Such Quick Bath Remodeling?

After we carefully measure and photograph your bathtub, the data is sent to the manufacturer. Your tub is identified and a mold exactly like your tub is used to form the A.B.S. acrylic sheet, in the color you selected, into your liner. The rest of your system is packaged together and shipped to our shop. The day our installer arrives at your door, all that needs to be done is to trim the bathtub liner and thermoform or trim the wall panels to match your walls. The system is secured in place and silicone sealant seals the seam where the wall panel meets the bathtub liner in the corners (If you ordered a seamless wall system there are no seams in the wall panels) and where the liner meets the walls and floor. Total time at your home will be two days or less.

Acrylic Bathtub Liners Won’t Chip or Peel

Our bathtub liner systems are made of the same premium acrylic used by the finest spa and tub manufactures in the world. The bathtub inserts are strong enough to resist impact and regular use. The cross-linked acrylic affords you the strongest, most resilient acrylic surface available for bathtubs, walls and showers and is the thickest acrylic in the industry.  Not only is it strong and durable, it is so easy to maintain. Because the acrylic liners and wall surrounds are non-porous there are is no place for germs to grow.  You’ll find that a squeegee is all the cleaning you’ll need to do.

Bathroom Remodeling That Saves Thousands Over Replacement

If you’ve ever considered replacing your bathroom fixtures, you already know that the costs will run into the thousands of dollars for conventional bathroom remodeling. Just replacing the tub alone cost upwards of $2,500 to $3,500. With Bath Fixer acrylic bathtub liners and wall surrounds, you get  a new bathroom and keep your money where it belongs – with you. Our revolutionary acrylic bathtub liner and wall surround system will save you money, time and give you a new easy-to-clean bathroom in two days or less.

A Bathtub, Is A Bathtub, Is A Bathtub, Isn’t It…?

Cast iron tubs and acrylic tubs have been rated by the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) to last 25+ years and fiberglass is rated for only 7 – 15 years, depending on the quality of the brand. It will begin to develop surface cracking that will eventually crack clear through. It is, of course a lower initial cost and that is why so many builders use fiberglass. Life span for a PVC tub is even less. You see PVC tubs used in most manufactured housing, due to the initial savings. The old adage, “You get what you pay for” could never be truer!

What’s The Difference Between Acrylic and Fiberglass…Aren’t They Both Plastics?

Just like gold and tin are both metals, acrylic and fiberglass are both plastics. The main difference is that fiberglass tubs have a gel-coat finish. This is a sprayed on surface that is very thin and becomes porous in a short time. Acrylic tubs have an actual sheet of acrylic that is heat applied (co extruded) over the tub. The surface is comparatively very thick and will give years of non-porous surface strength.
